Very RARE Variation of the Nickel Elmar. Prime / Standard 50mm Lens in Leica LTM Screw Mount. This is a fully original early 7'o' clock Elmar for the II or earliest III 35mm Rangefinder cameras.
What makes this rare is the flat focusing tab! This is a very rarely!! Seen variant transitional between the 11'o' clock pin release and the 7'o' clock domed release.It's believed these were only made for a few batches in late 1932 into early 1933. In very good+, used condition. Glasses are free from scratches, show light cleaning marks and some scuffs to glass surface. Inside are free from contamination, no fungus, no glass separation, delicate hazing, and a standard amount if tiny dust specks present. Images taken by this lens on a digital camera have the desired bubbly Bokeh effect! Focusing and aperture work correctly. Group number (engraved at back of focusing lever)is 9 or 6. When lens held with rear facing your eyes and focusing lever on the left it is 9, otherwise it is 6. GENUINE, correct & 100% original black paint over brass caps included!! I sell not list, SELL!
